Founded in 1999 by brothers Sergei and Dmitri Zelenski, ProLan Services Company (ProLan) focuses on providing both translation/interpretation and logistics support to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), other agencies of the U.S. government, agencies of the Russian Federation (RF) and various clients in the U.S./Russian private sectors. ProLan is committed to be the best technical translation/interpretation company in the English-Russian market by providing high-quality products with reasonable cost and quick turnaround.

ProLan has grown to include more than 30 technical translators/interpreters who are proficient in a broad spectrum of technical and scientific specialties. In particular, ProLan personnel have expertise in nuclear/environmental engineering, nuclear power plants, process training/simulation, mechanical engineering, information technology, computers, aerospace technology, etc. The company has been recognized for outstanding performance by the U.S. DOE/NNSA Office of International Material Protection & Cooperation, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), and E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc.

In addition to their English-Russian language capabilities, both ProLan founders have an extensive background in nuclear engineering. Many of the key translators/interpreters were previously (or are currently) employed at various scientific institutes within the RF. This technical/scientific background gives ProLan clients the advantage of being able to draw upon resources that not only know the language but that also enjoy close relationships with specialty nuclear companies and their staffs.

The main ProLan office is located in downtown Moscow within walking distance of many of the major hotels frequented by U.S. travelers.
